The main reason we chose HMIS was the need to fully integrate nine stand-alone databases into one consolidated database. HMIS was the only firm in the market with the capability of customizing what we needed in an affordable manner.

We now have one web-based solution that seamlessly integrates preneed leads, preneed and at-need contracts, crematory data and caregiver contacts along with trust and insurance prefunding financials into one database. Our preneed, at-need and administrative staff now communicate with each other more efficiently and have the real-time data to serve families better. In fact, since we have been using HMIS, our overall customer satisfaction from our family surveys has increased.

I chose a Batesville website because I felt what Batesville offered was a big step up from what we had been using.  Before, I had to go through so many hassles to add an obit, but now I can just copy and paste it all to the website. The fact that we can change the look of the website whenever we want was also a great selling point. With the website we had before, it was always the same look and if we wanted something different we would have to pay extra to change it.  Switching to Batesville was no problem; they have been so easy to work with and the setup was simple.
